FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation Welcomes Patrick Kenny as New Board Chair Carleton Place ON – Monday, October 28, 2024 – The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital (CPDMH) Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of Patrick Kenny as the new Chair of the CPDMH Foundation Board. Patrick, a local resident of Carleton Place has been actively involved in the community, as well as a valuable member on the CPDMH Board of Directors for the past three years. His dedication and passion for healthcare and his community makes him the perfect fit for this new leadership role. Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications to the role. He has worked with well-known organizations and events. As a practical thinker, Patrick is known for his ability to build strong partnerships and enhance corporate reputation. “I am honoured and excited to step into the role of Chair for the CPDMH Foundation Board. As we embark on this new chapter together, I am eager to work alongside our talented board, dedicated staff, and passionate volunteers to further our mission,” shares Patrick. “We are thrilled to have Patrick as the new Board Chair for the CPDMH Foundation. His wealth of experience, passion for collaboration, and innovative thinking will help drive the Foundation into the future," shared Robyn Arseneau, Executive Director of the CPDMH Foundation. Currently, Patrick serves as the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications for Invest Ottawa, lead economic development agency for knowledge-based industries in Canada’s Capital Region, since 2022. He also shares his expertise by serving as a member of the Board for Commonwealth Sport Canada (CSC), leads various advisory committees, including as Chair for the Marketing and Communications Advisory Committee for Wrestling Canada, and Commonwealth Sport Canada and lends his expertise as a member of the Algonquin College Public Relations Advisory Committee. In addition to his role at the CPDMH Foundation, Patrick has held important positions, such as Communications Lead for Team Canada at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and Director of Marketing and Communications for the Canada Games Council. He has also worked with Team Canada for past Commonwealth, Pan-Am, and Olympic Games.
