"Acey”, the Elusive Ace of Spades Caught in Week 27 of the CP Catch the Ace Lottery 4.0, Supporting Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation and Capt. A. Roy Brown Branch 192 Royal Canadian Legion Carleton Place **Carleton Place, ON – August 10, 2024** – The Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital (CPDMH) Foundation, in collaboration with the Capt. A. Roy Brown Branch 192 Royal Canadian Legion Carleton Place, is excited to announce that the infamous Ace of Spades has been caught in week 27 of the CP Catch the Ace Lottery. The CPDMH Foundation along with community partners, the Royal Canadian Legion are thrilled to announce our lucky winner and avid player and supporter of the CP Catch the Ace Lottery, Lise L. of Russell, ON, claimed a generous prize of $91,939.00. Lise, along with her husband and sister, attended the cheque presentation ceremony held on August 10th at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. During the presentation, Lise shared her motivation for participating in the lottery, stating, "I only play hospital lotteries because I know how much the funds help purchase patient care equipment and improve healthcare outcomes in our local communities. I support many hospital lotteries in the area." Over the past six years, the CP Catch the Ace Lottery has been a major fundraiser, generating over $1 million. The proceeds from the lottery support local healthcare, programs, and services within our community. The continued success of this lottery highlights the community's consistent support and generosity towards these vital local organizations. Now that the elusive "Acey" has been caught, he's taking a well-deserved vacation before making a grand return this fall for the launch of CP Catch the Ace 5.0.
