Tim Horton's Smile Cookie Campaign 2019

You guys love your cookies and your Hospital!

The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie event in Carleton Place raised an astounding $12,726.30. Our total last year was an impressive $9660; our 2019 efforts bested that by $3066.30. Incredible!

Shown in the photo (from left to right) is Chantal (CP Tim Hortons general manager), Stephanie (Franktown Rd. location manager), Lisa Peters and Scot Moore (owners of the CP Tim Hortons location), Joanna H. (Hospital Foundation board member), and Krista (Hospital Foundation donor relations coordinator).

The money raised during this event is used to purchase patient care equipment at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. Thank you to our generous community for supporting this event in such a big way!

We want to express our gratitude to those who helped make the campaign a success:

* Lisa Peters and Scot Moore (owners of the Carleton Place Tim Hortons locations): Your contributions to the community and the Hospital Foundation are many; we appreciate you and feel so fortunate to have you in our community.

* Tim Hortons Bakers: Thank you for tirelessly baking Smile Cookies all week. You made sure the cookies were always available and accommodated pre-orders and bulk orders on top of your busy daily baking schedule.

* Tim Hortons Team Members: Thank you for being gracious Smile Cookie promoters and helping us coordinate our team of in-store volunteers.

* Smile Cookie Volunteers: Thank you to Carleton Place Mayor Doug Black, town council members, community volunteers, and Hospital and Foundation volunteers. We know you have busy schedules and appreciate you taking the time to volunteer on behalf of the Hospital Foundation.

* Cookie Enthusiasts: Whether you bought one cookie or 250, we thank you for supporting the Hospital Foundation!

Lastly, thank you to Tim Hortons for creating a campaign that allows everyone to participate in raising funds for community-based organizations.
