Accreditation Survey

Accreditation Canada is a national non-profit independent organization. It conducts extensive hospital reviews using more than 2000 different criteria to measure patient safety and quality of care. The accreditation process is intended to ensure that similar organizations are meeting a shared set of rigorous standards.

In 2019, CPDMH was awarded the highest level of achievement possible – Accreditation with Exemplary Standing. This is the highest level of Accreditation. CPDMH worked closely with Almonte General Hospital to prepare for the survey, sharing best practices and learning from one another. Some of the survey meetings were held jointly.
